I came home and my wife said in a cheery voice, “Our daughter peed on the wood floor. Isn’t that great?” Her face suggested I should be happy with this puddle on my floor, so I said, “yeah honey. way to go.”
My wife was getting ready to give her a bath so my daughter had been running around naked. She ran to the hallway in front of the bathroom and peed on the wood floor right in front of my wife. My wife started to get upset but my other daughter caught her.
When my daughter was learning to go without a diaper she would refuse to use the toilet but would pee on our carpets. Our house is mainly wood floor so going on the carpets was a challenge. My wife in frustration begged he to at least go on the wood floor where it was easier to clean. So we had to celebrate my daughter’s great accomplishment of leaving the carpet to pee on the wood floor. Hurray!

Thanks for including my post. My family(3 generations) got into a heated discussion tonight, at a family bithday party, about why some teens in our neighborhood are growing up without values and work ethics. The middle generation (young parents) do not get that they are spoiling their kids with “things”. Families go to Toys Are Us and shop when the closet at home is over flowing! I wish I could get these young parents to READ the blogs I find that give good advice. Thanks to all parents who blog to help others
Great carnival! Thanks for including my article on Back to School!
